If your hand luggage exceeds the permitted weight or size, it will be checked in and may incur an additional charge.

What items am I not allowed to carry in my hand luggage?

Check all items that are prohibited in the cabin when flying with Canaryfly: weapons, aerosols, prohibited or dangerous liquids.

How should I carry liquids, creams and gels in hand luggage?

Liquids must be in containers of up to 100 ml, inside a transparent bag measuring 20 × 20 cm with a secure seal.

How should I carry liquid or semi-solid medications?

You may carry liquid or semi-solid medicines if you present them separately and with a prescription or valid proof of purchase.

How should I transport liquid or semi-solid baby food?

You may carry baby food in your hand luggage, provided that you present it separately and can justify its necessity.

Can I travel with a rechargeable external battery (power bank)?

Yes, you can travel with up to two lithium power banks (160 Wh max.), but they must be placed in your cabin baggage for safety reasons.

Damage, delay or loss of baggage

What do I do if my baggage is damaged, delayed or lost?

If your luggage is damaged or does not appear, you must report it at the airport and complete the Property Irregularity Report (P.I.R.).

What happens if I don't report my baggage problem on time?

If you do not submit the P.I.R. immediately, you will not be able to claim for damage or loss of luggage from Canaryfly.

When is my luggage considered delayed?

Your luggage is considered delayed if it does not arrive within 24 hours; most luggage is delivered within a maximum of 72 hours.

When is my luggage considered lost?

Your luggage is considered lost if 21 days pass without it being delivered from the scheduled arrival of the flight.
