Yes, they are permitted in hand luggage only: a maximum of 2 power banks and up to 20 spare batteries (up to 100 Wh each case).
It is important to note that:
Powerbanks or rechargeable external batteries
It is a portable power bank designed exclusively for charging other electronic devices.
- You may carry a maximum of 2, each with a maximum capacity of 100 Wh.
- Powerbanks or rechargeable external batteries exceeding 100 Wh are prohibited.
Spare batteries
It is a battery designed to be carried around to replace the one installed in an electronic device (for example, a camera, a drone or a laptop).
- You may carry a maximum of 20 spare batteries, each with a maximum capacity of 100 Wh.
- If the spare batteries have a capacity between 100 Wh and 160 Wh, you may only carry a maximum of 2.
Please also bear the following in mind:
- You must always carry it in your hand luggage.
- They must be individually protected to prevent short circuits. You can do this, for example, by using the original packaging, covering the battery with adhesive tape, or storing it separately in a protective bag or case.
- During the flight, it is recommended that you place them under the seat in front of you or in the seat pocket.
