What should I bear in mind if I am travelling with a limb in plaster?

  1.  Minimum time after the cast was applied 

    At least 24 hours must have passed since the cast was applied. This is important because the pressurisation of the aircraft can cause swelling, which could affect the cast.

  2. Seat reservations
  • You will only need to reserve one seat if your cast is above the waist.
  • You will need to reserve two seats if your cast is below the waist.
