You may travel unaccompanied if you are able to perform basic safety actions during the flight with Canaryfly.

How do I purchase and confirm my flight if I am travelling with a wheelchair (electric or manual)?

If you are travelling with a wheelchair, please contact Canaryfly before your flight to confirm the weight, battery and necessary authorisation.

How and where can I request assistance before my flight?

Please contact the Call Centre or visit a Canaryfly office for assistance.

What should I do on the day of the flight?

On the day of your flight, arrive early, notify the airport, and go to the Canaryfly counter to arrange your personalised assistance.

What should I do if I need to travel on a stretcher?

You can request stretcher service 72 hours in advance, travel with a companion, and bring the corresponding medical authorisation.

What should I bear in mind if I am travelling with a limb in plaster?

You must wait 24 hours after the plaster cast is applied and reserve 1 or 2 seats depending on the affected area so that you can fly comfortably and safely.

Is my guide dog or emotional support dog considered a valid companion?

Yes, guide dogs and assistance dogs travel free of charge with Canaryfly in the cabin or hold, depending on your needs.

Pregnant women and baby transport

Canaryfly rules for flying while pregnant or with babies: medical certificates, documentation, and strollers.

Can I fly if I'm pregnant?

You can fly with Canaryfly until the 32nd week of pregnancy without a certificate; from the 33rd week onwards, you will need medical authorisation and to sign a disclaimer.

Can I travel with more than one baby?

Yes, you can travel with more than one baby as long as one is over 18 months old; the younger child travels on your lap and the other in their own seat.

What documentation do I need if I am travelling with my baby?

To travel with your baby, you must bring your family register and, if applicable, a certificate of residence for travel issued by your local council.

Can I travel with a pram or carrycot?

With Canaryfly, you can travel with your baby’s pushchair or carrycot at no extra cost and hand it over at the aircraft door for added protection.

Up to what age is a person considered a child?

Canaryfly considers children to be aged between 2 and 11 years old; for their safety, they cannot occupy seats in emergency exits.

Can children travel alone?

On Canaryfly, children aged 5 to 11 can travel alone by purchasing the UM service; for children aged 12 to 14, this service is optional for added peace of mind.

What does the Unaccompanied Minor service consist of?

The unaccompanied minor service includes full accompaniment of the minor during boarding, flight and arrival with Canaryfly; it is compulsory for children aged 5 to 11.

What do I have to do once I have booked the service for a minor travelling alone?

If you hire the service for someone travelling alone, the adult must arrive in advance, hand over the documentation and wait for the flight to take off.

People who need more space in the cabin

Canaryfly offers the option to book an additional seat for more comfort and safety.

Can I reserve an extra seat if I need more space in the cabin due to my personal circumstances?

Yes, you can book an additional seat 48 hours in advance with Canaryfly; the price is the same as a normal ticket.

Sick passengers or medical cases

Do I need to present any documents if I am ill or have a medical condition that should be known?

If you have a medical condition or require oxygen, please provide a certificate and notify Canaryfly in advance.

What documents do I need to provide?

You may need MEDIF, INCAD or FREMEC forms to fly, depending on your state of health or treatment.
