You may carry your medicines or medical supplies in your hand luggage in the quantity necessary for the journey.
- Present them separately at security.
- We recommend that you carry them in their original packaging.
- It is advisable to accompany them with a certificate or medical prescription attesting to their necessity, especially if they are injectables or controlled substances.
Airport security personnel may ask you to prove their authenticity.
These exceptions are regulated by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998, which allows medicines and baby food to be carried in the cabin even if they exceed the usual 100 ml limit.
