Discount conditions

The discount shall include the amounts that the Passenger is required to pay for their transport and that of their baggage on air services, as well as the conditions under which these prices apply, including the remuneration and conditions offered to agents, other ancillary services, and, where applicable, ticketing fees. Applicable taxes, fees and charges shall also be included, with the exception of the infrastructure usage and the security charges; the fuel surcharge shall be included. Therefore, this discount applies to the airfare and one piece of checked baggage weighing up to 20 kg.

When booking, the Passenger must declare their resident status in order for the relevant discount to be applied.

Proof of this status shall be provided by means of electronic verification using the Passenger's national identity document (DNI), which may be sufficient to verify both the Passenger's identity and, where applicable, their place of residence.

Only in cases where it has not been possible to electronically verify residence, shall the Passenger be required to prove this status at the check-in desk by presenting a valid Certificate of Residence for Travel issued by the relevant local authority; or, where applicable, the credential from the relevant Chambers confirming one's status as an elected Member of the House of Deputies or Senator.

The Company shall not allow the Passenger to board the aircraft if it detects any irregularities in the documentation presented or discrepancies in the Passenger's identity.

Any Passenger holding a subsidised ticket who fails to provide satisfactory proof of their identity, or who is not the holder of the ticket, shall not be permitted to travel with that ticket and shall be denied boarding, or shall be required to purchase a new ticket without the corresponding subsidy.

For Passengers wishing to make use of the option to change their Ticket and/or Connecting Ticket (as provided for in these General Conditions):

I. If they change a flight to/from a non-subsidised destination to a subsidised one, their resident status will be taken into account for the new subsidised segment, provided that they provide all the documentation specified in these Conditions of Carriage.

II. If they change a subsidised flight for a non-subsidised one, they shall be required to pay the full price of the new flight, without any subsidy.

Such changes may only be made through the Call Center or Sales Offices, and may incur an additional handling fee. In general, Canaryfly operates point-to-point Flights without stopovers. In cases of point-to-point Flights, the discount shall apply only to flights from the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla, and whose destinations are in the rest of Spain, and vice versa. Said Passengers shall be subject to the conditions for the aforementioned service. Under no circumstances shall the resident discount be applied to Passengers who claim it after the booking has been made. In the case of Connecting Tickets, the discount shall apply to those Segments originating in the archipelagos, Ceuta or Melilla and whose destinations are in the rest of Spain, and vice versa. In the case of Connecting Tickets, the discount shall only apply if the stopover does not exceed twelve hours in duration.
