Who is Entitled to the Canary Islands Resident Discount?

People who live in the Canary Islands and meet the requirements established by law are entitled to the resident discount:

• Spanish nationals registered as residents in a municipality in the Canary Islands.
• People with nationality of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland who are registered in the Canary Islands.
• People from other countries who have legal permanent or long-term residence in Spain and are registered in the Canary Islands.

Your residence must be confirmed in the Ministry of Transport's computer system. If your residence is not automatically confirmed when you purchase your ticket, you must present the Certificate of Residence for Travel issued by your local council.
