What documents do I need to fly between islands if I am not a Canary Islands resident?

If you have Spanish nationality

  • Over 14 years of age:
    • National identity card or passport, valid or expired, or driving licence issued in Spain.
  • Children under 14 years of age do not need to present any documents. The adult travelling with them will be responsible for them.

Note: If you are using a digital ID, please ensure that it can be verified correctly at the time of boarding. To avoid technical issues, we recommend that you also bring your physical ID.

If you are from the European Union or the Schengen Area

You can present one of these documents:

  • Valid and current passport or travel document.
  • Spanish or Schengen State residence permit with photograph and valid.
  • Driving licence issued in Spain.

If you are from a country outside the EU or the Schengen Area

You can present one of the following documents:

  • Valid passport or travel document.
  • Spanish or Schengen residence permit with photograph and valid.
  • Driving licence issued in Spain.
